1. Who we are

ProLeap is an automated LinkedIn profile diagnosis service operated by Salto Marketing, a company based in Brazil. This document describes how we handle your personal data in line with widely accepted data protection principles (purpose limitation, data minimization, and transparency).

2. Data we collect

• LinkedIn profile URL: provided by you to generate the diagnosis.
• Public LinkedIn data: information publicly available on your profile (headline, experience, skills, cover photo), collected via an authorized scraping service.
• Email: used to send your diagnosis results and access your dashboard.
• Payment data: processed directly by Stripe — we never store your card details.
• Technical logs: IP address, user agent, and access timestamps, for security and fraud-prevention purposes.

3. How we use your data

• Generate and deliver your LinkedIn profile diagnosis report.
• Send the report access link by email.
• Process payment and issue receipts.
• Prevent fraud and abuse on the platform.
• Improve our analysis models (using anonymized data).

We never sell your data to third parties or use it for third-party advertising.

4. Legal basis for processing

• Contract performance: we process your data to deliver the service you purchased.
• Consent: collected explicitly at checkout.
• Legitimate interest: security logging and fraud prevention.

5. Data sharing

Your data is shared only with service providers essential to our operation:

• AI processing — Anthropic, Inc.: profile analysis via artificial intelligence. Data is not used to train models.
• Public data collection — Apify: extraction of public LinkedIn information with the user's authorization.
• Payments — Stripe: secure processing of financial transactions. We never store card data.
• Communications — Resend: sending transactional emails (purchase confirmation, report access).

No data is sold or shared for advertising purposes.

6. Data retention

Your data is kept while your account is active, or for as long as legally required. Diagnosis reports are retained for up to 2 years to allow progress comparison over time. You may request deletion at any time (see section 8).

7. Security

We use SSL/TLS encryption, Row Level Security (RLS) on our database, magic-link authentication, and continuous monitoring. No system is 100% secure, but we follow industry best practices.

8. Your rights

As the owner of your data, you have the right to:

• Confirm whether we process your data.
• Access the data we hold about you.
• Correct incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated data.
• Delete your data — available in your dashboard under "My Account" or by email.
• Withdraw your consent at any time.
• Request a copy of your data (portability).

9. Cookies

We use cookies strictly necessary for authentication and platform functionality. We do not use third-party tracking cookies without your explicit consent.
